COMMENTARY: It is a new year and a time of renewal. Many of us have made personal resolutions to eat healthier, produce less waste, and spend more time with family and friends.  But what about as a country – what can we, as Canadians, resolve to do better in 2023 and into the future?

A 35-year-old man from Calgary was killed in a serious two-vehicle collision on Highway 1A, about four kilometres south of Canmore, on Sunday morning (Jan. 15).

“It is important to look at what our communities are asking from us and recreation has something all the hamlets have been looking to the MD for. This is a small way that we can support the recreation that the community associations have been working hard, volunteering many hours, to provide.”
