“We have been fortunate this year so far in the Calgary Forest Area that there haven't been wildfires threatening communities, but we always have to be on alert."

Exshaw Fire-Rescue and Canmore Fire-Rescue are battling a fire in the area of Lac des Arcs and Highway 1.

“He spoke to a number of different projects the government has been putting in place or looking to do so. It was nice for us as a chamber and our partners at BOWDA to be able to facilitate and let some of our members have that conversation in an intimate setting.”

We can come up with a long-term dependable solution with predictable economic costs as well as environmental benefits.”

“There’s a very clear understanding for people who work in the food sector, but folks who aren’t so familiar with some of the issues surrounding food in the Bow valley, I don’t think they necessarily see some of those issues if they’re not impacted by them or working in the field on a regular basis."
