I think it is the right decision to let this go for now and let the next council take a stab at it and hopefully have some good ideas and have things figured out. It’s a tricky situation.”

“When it comes to visitor accommodation or other multi-unit developments there’s been a concern about there not being enough parking and part of the flex we’re in right now is we’re trying to change people’s behaviour and get them to a place where they’re using active modes of transportation. There’s going to be a bit of an uncomfortable period where new developments have less parking, but it’s ultimately to encourage that mode shift to active modes of transportation.”
