Editor: On Thursday, Nov. 21 I emailed to mayor and council my concerns regarding snow removal from Banff streets after Tuesday’s snowfall. The following sentence was contained in that letter.

Editor: Re: Big Bucks Are In The Offing You have expressed an opinion that $2.3 million that are required to re-do the old library and create an arts centre is looking like a big ticket item for a relatively small sampling of the population.

Editor: There ain’t no free lunch. Someone pays. But, of course, there are those who want free lunch, regardless of their financial means.

Editor: Much more than the $7,500 cost to hold a public plebiscite on pay parking in Banff, the true reason one won’t be held is because council is scared.
