CANMORE – RCMP and search and rescue teams have located a Canmore senior who went missing late Sunday afternoon (Nov. 29).
According to a press release, Richard Lewis, 70, went missing from the trails behind Quarry Lake around 4:20 p.m.
Cochrane and Calgary Search and Rescue teams, conservation officers with Alberta Parks, Kananaskis Public Safety, the police dog service and RCMP were actively looking for Lewis.
According to a social media post by Cochrane Search and Rescue, he was found on Sunday evening.
