The Calgary Region Airshed Zone – which includes Banff, Canmore and the MD of Bighorn – expanded its air quality monitoring with new sensors.

“We’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback from the cycling experience from people the last year-and-a-half. We’ve also been getting feedback from people who really love the scenic drive and want access to those day areas."

PHOTOS: The last week in the Bow Valley had the province fully reopen from public health restrictions, which saw businesses fully reopen and tourists come en masse to the mountain communities.

“High school is a long road and this year especially was pretty challenging. It is rewarding to be recognized by my teachers for the hard work I put in. And the financial award will really help with my university expenses next year.”

“The rate at which the herd is reproducing is a pretty good indication of how they are doing and how healthy the herd is."

“The time for warnings is over. I think we also have to stop saying ‘please’ to visitors and be more directed in what we are saying."
