Ukrainian Canadian Congress in Bow Valley is going to gather near the Civic Center on the Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. to pay tribute to all civilians and soldiers who have tragically fallen in the full-scale war initiated by Russia on Ukrainian territory.
Our intention is not to hold a protesting meeting, but rather to unite for a brief moment of silence and prayer, standing in solidarity with our families back in Ukraine and all those affected by this devastating conflict. We anticipate a small gathering, but we are welcoming everyone who would like to join us that day. We just want to remind the world the war is still going on and we need your support otherwise our fight for freedom and democracy will be lost.
This is the event done globally with all Ukrainian Canadian Congresses.
