“Our nurses are trained on PPE's. We do have a medical transport program and our drivers are trained on PPE's as well and if someone needed to be tested and has no transportation, we can always use our medical transportation vehicles to bring them to the health centre."

The new testing criteria allows people who are symptomatic and living in the Calgary region, which includes Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise and Exshaw, to get tested for the COVID-19 coronavirus

“So far we have been very fortunate and there are no cases on reserves. Most chiefs have been very proactive out there, they have good plans and checkpoints going into reserves.”
