CANMORE – The Canmore Golf and Curling Club was broken into during the early morning hours of Nov. 11, according to the RCMP.

Police said the suspect broke the glass window of a rear door to get inside the building before breaking open an ATM and stealing $2,000 from the machine.

Surveillance footage shows the male suspect wearing what appears to be a blue jacket with a blue hood, blue jeans, and grey shoes.

Police said it appears the suspect knew where the cameras were located as he did not look at them at any time and kept his head covered by the hood.

The suspect used a tool to break the glass door and police believe he cut his right hand or wrist while breaking in. The suspect left the scene in what appeared to be a later model Kia Sedona.
Canmore RCMP are asking the public to help identify the suspect involved in this offence.
