NEW YORK (AP) — Raquel Welch, whose emergence from the sea in a skimpy, furry bikini in the film “One Million Years B.C.” would propel her to international sex symbol status throughout the 1960s and '70s, has died. She was 82.

TOKYO (AP) — Shoichiro Toyoda, who as a son of the company’s founder oversaw Toyota’s expansion into international markets, has died. He was 97. Toyoda, the company's honorary chairman, died Tuesday of heart failure, Toyota Motor Corp.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Conrad Dobler, one of the NFL's top offensive linemen and fiercest players in the 1970s, has died. He was 72. The Arizona Cardinals announced Dobler died Monday in Pueblo, Colorado. No cause of death was given.

David Jude Jolicoeur, known widely as Trugoy the Dove and one of the founding members of the Long Island hip-hop trio De La Soul, has died. He was 54. His representative Tony Ferguson confirmed the reports Sunday.

MONTREAL — Billy Two Rivers, a celebrated Mohawk professional wrestler who became a prominent politician and Indigenous rights advocate, has died at 87.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Ted Lerner, the billionaire real estate developer whose family bought the Washington Nationals in 2006, has died, the team announced Monday. He was 97.

ATLANTA (AP) — Roslyn Pope, a college professor and musician who wrote “An Appeal for Human Rights,” laying out the reasons for the Atlanta Student Movement against systemic racism in 1960, has died. She was 84. Pope died Jan.

QUEBEC — Former Quebec cabinet minister Nadine Girault has died at the age of 63. Premier François Legault confirmed her death on social media, paying tribute to a "passionate, determined and endearing woman.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — Arne Treholt, the former Norwegian Foreign Ministry official who was convicted of spying for the Soviet Union in what became Norway’s biggest Cold War espionage scandal, has died, authorities said Monday. He was 80.

Howard Bragman, a beloved Hollywood publicist who specialized in crisis relations and whose clients have included Monica Lewinsky, Cameron Diaz, Ricki Lake, Sharon Osbourne and Chaz Bono, has died after a short battle with leukemia. He was 66.
