“The exhibition that's coming up, titled Another Life is really a reflection on my experiences, working as a cabinet maker in the Bow Valley and some of those experiences as a woman in the construction trades, but also a look at the way returning to school and pursuing the arts has really transformed my life,” said Findlay.

It’s a full circle moment for two photographers with the revitalization of a 20-year-old high school film photography class.

“Songbird populations are declining throughout a lot of North America and the world, but they’re actually doing pretty well in the mountains."

Josh Sandu and Andrew Laite will be under the lights at Eclipse Coffee Roasters on Railway Ave in Canmore on April 1. Doors are at 6 p.m. and music will begin at 7 p.m.
