A Canadian Pacific train carrying grain derailed overnight on Tuesday (Jan. 26) near Field, B.C. There were no injuries to any crew members.

As of Wednesday (Jan. 6), there have been 1,002 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in the Bow Valley since the pandemic began. When COVID-19 cases in Bow Valley spiked at the beginning of December, a grassroots volunteer effort – Three Communities: One Valley – began to help those in quarantine or isolation by picking up and delivering things like mail, groceries and medications.
