Canmore Community Housing Corporation has received 12 submissions to a second request for proposals to design and build perpetually affordable housing at 1100 Lawrence Grassi Ridge

"The Town has no role in undermining," said manager of engineering Andy Esarte. "Our role is largely focused around ensuring that the work is done properly because we are basically a buyer of municipal land and infrastructure. "In the last year or so, we have been examining our regional operations, not just in Canmore, but all communities we have a presence in and really looking at models that allow us to serve our mandate, which is to provide educational opportunities across our service region, but at the same time in a sustainable way."
