I was looking at Airbnb the other day and I noticed a number of postings in the Bow Valley advertising a free Banff National Park pass. With more than four million annual visitors to the park, user fees are one key way visitors support park infrastructure and ecological stewardship.

If Airbnb guests are avoiding paying their fair share, who's going to be left holding the bag? Most visitors come because of the parks, it's only fair some of those tourism dollars support the park directly.
