This is that glorious season when your friends or family start sending you beautiful photos of cherry trees blooming in Victoria, but on a recent walk around the Bow River in Canmore all I could see blooming was dog poop in various forms of decay.
It was hanging on trees and bushes, still in the un-sealed bag, or just in the middle of the trail melting into the slush and mud so you have another level of slipping hazard.
It baffles me every spring and is as predictable as the tulips and cherry blossoms on the Island. I chuckle, but it’s disgusting, people.
