Seems a bit odd to me.
So, we have more than 1,000 valid signatures of Banff residents to a petition, but council stays with their choice and stalls with a plebiscite so the Banff Avenue pedestrian zone will go ahead this year making the business sector happy.
But when one person representing the business sector says in a public council meeting that there would be too much tax, council immediately shifts the burden of the mill rate.
Transparency there, business speaks and council acts. Residents speak, sorry we didn’t hear that, can you repeat it for us?
