I am writing to share my very deep thanks and appreciation for the staff and students at Alpenglow School.  As part of their Earth Day celebrations, these fabulous students collected pledges from friends and family, then ran loops of a course behind their school for 45 minutes and raised just a few loonies and toonies short of $4,000.

They chose to donate this to the Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley to support our work, particularly as it relates to education and climate action. A special thanks to teacher Noer Wuisman, who organized the whole shebang.

The fact Alpenglow School recognizes the importance of Earth Day, and is willing to go to such lengths to support environmental work in our community, gives me great hope for the future.

Again, thanks.

Executive Director
