Police seek help to find missing youth last seen near Morley

JAN. 30 UPDATE: Mary Lauren Wesley has been found safe.

STONEY NAKODA – RCMP are reaching out to the public to help locate a missing youth last seen at Smitty’s restaurant on Highway 1 at Mînî Thnî Road (Morley Road). 

Cochrane RCMP said Mary Lauren Wesley, 14, was dropped off at the highway restaurant on Jan. 23, 2024.

“She was last seen wearing cream coloured yoga pants, a white shirt, long black puffy coat, and carrying a black gym bag and an army green backpack,” said RCMP in a media statement.

The teenager is described as having brown eyes, long brown hair with blonde tips, a medium complexion, five-foot-six-inches tall, and weighing approximately 169 lbs.

Anyone who may know her whereabouts is asked to contact Cochrane RCMP at 403-851-8000 or local police.
