We wanted to give our sincerest condolences to the Roth family at the passing of Mr. Archie.
I was one of those “strangers” when I arrived in Banff, walking at the third Vermilion Lake and Mr. Archie gave me one of those fabulous grins and his trademark statement: “Every day is a good day.”
For many years whenever my husband and I were walking the lakes, we would see Mr. Archie on his bicycle or sitting on the bench smiling and enjoying the place he called home.
Thank you Mr. Archie for your infectious exhuberance. We will always remember you whenever we smile at a “stranger.”
