Our family is sad to announce the passing of our father/ grandfather/ sibling and friend. Randy Chartrand aka 'Two Feathers' unexpectedly passed away April 20th 2023 as a result of a head on collision in Canmore Alberta.
Randy was predeceased by his parents Robert Percey Chartrand and Augusta Kurbs.
Those of us to cherish his memories are his siblings Barb Peterson and Tim Chartrand, daughter Bobbie Chartrand, grandchildren Trinity Chartrand, Gabriel Gallinger, neices and nefew Angela Peterson, Regatta Peterson, and Joel Peterson and so many more friends and family.
Randy moved to Canmore in the late 1970's and has since remained a resident of the town. During his many years in Canmore he enjoyed roaming the back roads of Kananaskis and taking in all of the beauty than Canmore has to offer. In honor of his love for Canmore and long time watering hole we will be hosting his celebration of Life at The local Canmore Hotel on July 29th, 2023 at 12 pm.
Randy's daughter and grandchildren reside in BC and his remaining family are from Saskatchewan. We are holding his celebration in Canmore for those of you that have formed long time friendships with our father/ grandfather over the years and/or even accuatences that shared memories with our beloved two feathers. We would love to meet all of you and hear any story you may have to share.
Randy will always be remembered for his love of family most especially his grandchildren, his love of Johnny Cash, his love for the canmore community, hunting , fishing and his Metis Herritage
