PATRICIA ANITA LEVER
1936 – 2022
Pat Lever passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of May 11, 2022. Pat had been a resident of the Bethany Care Centre in Cochrane since early 2020, and lived at Origin at Spring Creek for several years prior to that.
Pat was born in Bolton, Lancashire, UK. After helping to raise her brother’s children following the untimely death of her sister-in-law, she immigrated to Canada in the 1960s. She was for many years the executive assistant for Hans Gmoser at Canadian Mountain Holidays in Banff, being part of the company during its most dynamic years of growth.
Pat’s Bow Valley friends will remember her as a keen participant at noon-hour fitness classes at the Sally Borden, and an active member of the Bow Valley’s informal Wednesday hiking group.
Pat is survived by a nephew and a nephew-in-law and their children in England. Cremation has taken place and, in lieu of a ceremony, you are asked to remember her in your own way. If you would like to make a charitable donation in Pat’s memory, please consider the Bethany Care Foundation.
