Happy Labour Day everyone!

It is the last long weekend of the summer. Melancholy? A little. Exciting? For sure!

First off, we would like to thank you for hanging with us all spring and summer!

As autumn rolls in and jackets zip up, we can't help be feel a bit nostalgic for those hot summer days. With the temps forecasted in the low to mid 20s this weekend, we know some of you are going to try to pull off some last minute, late summer objectives.

However, we just want to remind you to be careful.

We also want to take some time to thank all those who have been working hard all summer to come in and assist when help is needed.

If you haven't thanked Alpine Heli, Kananaskis Country Public Safety, Banff Visitor Safety, Canmore Fire Rescue, Banff Fire Department, Alberta Wildfire and all the other first responders who work in the Bow Valley, we strongly suggest that you do.  A simple thanks can go a long way.

With that said, we would like to recap a few safety stories we put out this spring and summer that might help you with your weekend plans!

Stay Safe and Have Fun!

XOXO 51°
