Netflix series filming in southern Alberta looking for Indigenous extras

SOUTHERN ALBERTA – Indigenous men, women and children are needed as extras for a Netflix series filming in southern Alberta. 

A Keep Alberta Rolling social media post advised of the casting call for The Abandons that’s looking for Indigenous people of all ages for a series that’s filming in southern Alberta until Oct. 17. 

A casting call will be held at the Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino in Kananaskis Country on Highway 40 on Thursday (May 30) from noon to 8 p.m.

The casting call is open to Alberta residents only.
