LETTER: Canada should shift its environmental policy from imposing high carbon taxes to providing low-cost green energy globally.

“The Calgary Forest Area typically sees a drastic increase in wildfire danger in May when the snow has all melted, but green-up has not yet occurred. Exposed, dead/dry vegetation, warmer temperatures and higher winds all contribute to a higher fire danger.”

McKeever announced his departure on March 30 in an post on Instagram and X, formerly Twitter, saying that “it has been decided for me that my time at Nordiq Canada has come to an end.”

The beginning stages of a development phase in Three Sisters that will eventually create 700-1,075 residential units will soon begin, but it will likely be 2026 at the earliest when new homes are ready to be moved into.
