I would like to say thank you to the Banff Community High School students who helped to put flags and light markers at the grave sites of the veterans at rest in the Old Banff Cemetery this year, and the Banff residents – and visitors – who placed the solar-powered lights into the markers.
It is a thoughtful way to recognize the number of veterans buried here and is especially sombre when the lights come on at night. We did, and continue to, remember them.
