In Banff, community is at the heart of everything we do. The Pursuit Community Fund, proudly managed in partnership with the Banff Canmore Foundation, is an initiative that supports communities in Canmore, Banff and Jasper in Alberta and Golden, British Columbia through in-kind and monetary funding.
Through local projects focused on the four pillars — Community Vibrancy and Social Events, Community Services and Support, Affordable Living and Environment and Sustainability, we’re making lasting, positive change right here at home.
In 2024, the Pursuit Community Fund has helped to bring life to projects across these communities including Golden & District Community Foundation, YWCA Banff, Canmore & Area Health Care Foundation, Stoney Nakoda Days; and we are just getting started.

The Pursuit Community Fund is an initiative to give back to the people and businesses who call the Canadian Rocky Mountains home. So far, the Pursuit Community Fund has supported over 70 organizations in the the Canadian Rockies such as YWCA, Santas Anonymous, Bow Valley Pride Network and Rotary Club of Banff. Organizations may apply for PCF funding four times a year. The PCF committee meets quarterly to review submissions.
