With cooler weather and precipitation since Sunday evening (Sept. 6), the Black Rock Mountain wildfire is now considered "being held" by Alberta Wildfire

Information from Alberta Wildfire estimated the size of the Black Rock Mountain wildfire at 120 hectares as of Saturday evening (Sept. 5) and 346 hectares on Sunday morning (Sept. 6)

The wildfire is estimated at 10 hectares in size and is burning 25 kilometres west of the Hamlet of Benchlands in the MD of Bighorn
