“We did initially have all five of those nests active that were active last year, but unfortunately, because only one bird returned, there was no egg laid so that nest is not active.”

Three people were killed in a collision of two semi-trucks Sunday morning (Aug. 28) near the west boundary of Yoho National Park on the Trans-Canada Highway.

They are convenient, inexpensive and versatile but plastics are harming our health and our planet. Recognizing the damaging effects of plastic pollution, the federal government recently announced regulations limiting single-use plastics. But they do not go far enough to protect human health or ensure environmental sustainability.
