1 / 1Iva Geddes-McNabb, left, of George Gordon First Nation, Carlene Hotomani of Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation and Gloria Snow of Stoney Nakoda First Nation walk together along the Trans-Canada Highway in Canmore on Tuesday (July 27). Snow met up with Hotomani and Geddes-McNabb to support them as they walk through the traditional Stoney Nakoda territory. The pair are walking to Kamloops from Saskatchewan to honour the more than 1,000 children revealed in unmarked graves at former residential schools in Canada. Geddes-McNabb, a residential school survivor, said the walk is a way is a way to help heal and honour the children that lost their lives.
