BOW VALLEY – The last week in the Bow Valley saw additional public health restrictions lifted as pre-COVID-19 life slowly began to repair as tourists flocked to the valley, patios reopened and residents were out-and-about.

Members of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation memorialized the 215 children found in an unmarked grave near the former Kamloops Residential School in British Columbia, while community members also organized a solidarity protest walk to raise further attention to the toll illegal drugs are having on the reserve.

The photography also showcased the rising waters along the Bow River in Exshaw, Banff and Canmore as well as valley residents enjoying the spring weather.

Here's a look at photos that were in the June 10 newspaper and website for the Rocky Mountain Outlook. For more photos, visit our Instagram page at www.instagram.com/rockymountainoutlook.
