Canmore RCMP seek assistance locating missing woman

Police are asking for residences and businesses in the Coyote Way area to review security cameras for any video or images on Saturday morning (Feb. 18) that may assist.

CANMORE – Canmore RCMP are reaching out to the public and businesses to assist locating a missing 65-year-old woman.

Joan McGregor of Canmore was last seen Friday evening (Feb. 17).

McGregor is described as light complexion with a slim build, standing five-foot-one and weighing 100 pounds. She has blue eyes and light-coloured red hair. She is believed to be wearing a blue puffy jacket.

“RCMP are asking for residences and businesses in the area of Coyote Way to review security cameras for any video or images on Feb. 18, between 1:30 and 10:30 a.m., that may assist in the ground search,” said an RCMP statement.
