VIDEO: Mic'd 10-year-old ringette goalie plays air guitar, 'feels evil'

An Ontario ringette club assistant coach decided to put a mic on his daughter as she played net last weekend. She had a lot to say.

When Curt O'Neil decided to mic his 10-year-old daughter, Reese, as she minded the twine during a ringette game last Saturday evening, he had no idea what he was going to get.

The video above includes her game commentary as she screams for Carmen and the team's defense (The Great Lakes Timber), plays a mean air guitar, offers scoring advice, states that playing goalie is boring even before the game has started, and at one point hilariously proclaims that she 'feels evil'.

O'Neil told SooToday that Reese has been part of the Sault Ringette Club for some time, playing in net on and off for the past four years.

"She's not a goalie," he explained. "We need goalies for the league... so players take turns playing goal if they want. This was her second time playing goalie this year."

Despite losing to Kiwanis Lakeshore 4-3, "We did good" Reese told her teammates at the end of the game.
