A Kentucky man who had been charged for breaching quarantine in Banff last summer is believed to have been found dead at the Grand Canyon, according to the American National Park Service.

“I think we have our cart before the horse; we’re doing incremental planning rather than cumulative effects planning," said Councillor Peter Poole.

“These warm temperatures are going to be a concern across all these regions, with the most significant impact in the south.”

“We’re trying to find the balance of what’s acceptable in terms of accommodating extra density while not sacrificing too much urban design quality."

“The provincial budget didn’t negatively affect our three-year operating or 10-year capital plan, and in fact, our capital plan will be much healthier than we had anticipated.”

“I am worried it may seem unfair to still have municipal intervention when it comes to restricting the hours of these services, so I would be willing to let this one go at this time," said Councillor Corrie DiManno

Parks Canada is hoping to capture and collar wolves in the Bow Valley pack to track their movements and monitor behaviour.

“We want to create a place that offers people somewhere that they’re really comfortable and really happy to be.”

“We were actually very hopeful late last week that we were going to be able to report zero active cases today, but a few new cases were reported very late last week and through the weekend," said Silvio Adamo, the Town of Banff’s director of emergency management.
