Fielding one of the best small school soccer clubs in the province, the Canmore Collegiate High School Crusaders boys soccer team continued its undefeated season with a pair of games.

Against the Highwood Mustangs on May 9 at Millennium Field, Canmore poured on the offence, but couldn’t capitalize on multiple chances. A late goal by young defender Brandon Butler tied the game late, as the Crusaders salvaged a tie.

Canmore gave up a goal early on a defensive miscue and responded with wave after wave of offensive pressure.

On Monday, May 14, Canmore rediscovered its scoring touch. They defeated Strathmore by a 5-1 score. Postman and John Lee scored twice for Canmore in the victory, while Jihu Chun added a single. Canmore is now ranked first in its division, one point ahead of Holy Trinity Academy.
